Most Stressful Movements For Hockey Goalie Hips | T Push?

And – the most stressful movement for hockey goalie hips is – – The T-Push?

You might have heard this referenced lately on the interwebz and I think it comes from an interpretation of this article – Femoroacetabular Impingement in Elite Ice Hockey Goaltenders: Etiological Implications of On-Ice Hip Mechanics David Whiteside, PhD*, Jessica M. Deneweth, PhD, Asheesh Bedi, MD, Ronald F. Zernicke, PhD, Grant C. Goulet, PhD

But I think the findings have been a little misinterpreted (myself included), so let’s look at how the Butterfly, Recovery and T-Push stack up. Goaltenders weren’t using the RVH regularly at the time of this study, so it wasn’t included.
