Here’s the shake recipe…

This workout shake is choco-mocha-delicious with a little caffeine kick.  The bit of caffeine actually helps your body use free fatty acids as an energy source, which means your fast action sugars get reserved for those times when you need that extra blast to get up the ice.

It tastes so good that you will think it is bad for you…

This is what I put in it…

  • One scoop of chocolate protein powder (I am using Vega One, but I also like BioSteel)
  • 6 small espresso cubes
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • ½- ¾ cup of almond milk (I am using almond/coconut milk)
  • Blend.  If you want it to be a little more frozen, then add a few ice cubes.
