Summer Hockey Training at Revolution Conditioning

This post is for those of you who live in southern Ontario and are looking for pro-style off-season hockey training.  I have just invited returning players to register for this summer’s HOCKEYSTRONG 2010 program.  They have one week to confirm and send it their deposit – after that I will go to the applicants that I get from the waiting list.  Now keep in mind, the HOCKEYSTRONG program sells out every summer – typically within 1 day (I think the longest was three days).

  • what you can contribute to the training group
  • past training experience – have you performed strength training before?
  • what you need to improve the most over the summer
  • do you know anyone who has been  in the program before?

Applying for the waiting list is no guarantee at all that you will be accepted into the program, I base that decision on who is will contribute to the group and who has the most to gain from their hard work.

Not familiar with the HOCKEYSTRONG training program?  Well it is comprehensive off-ice training system that is modelled on the style of training I use with pro hockey players.  Here is what you get:

  • Training from early May to mid-August
  • 90+ hours of supervised small group off-ice hockey training (max of 6 athletes) so you maximize your results while reducing the risk of injury ($3690 value)
  • Workouts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 4:30pm
  • Killer Saturday morning hill workouts
  • Detailed supplemental training for athletes to complete on their own ($97)
