Q&A – Too many emails + timing games and workouts

What up?!  Hope you have had a great week so far.  Mine has been good and productive so far.  Any thoughts on the Lockout and the offer from the NHL/ response from the NHLPA?  I am sure there is much more to it than meets the eye – I would love to hear someone comment on how the structure of the latest NHL offer differs from other North American pro sports organizations.  I am pretty sure no one’s players are getting 57% of the pie, but are there other elements in the offer that are way out of line with what the other athletes get?  If you have any insight, please share it below, I would love to hear about it.

Later today my buddy Andy and his wife Stacey and their wee lad Finn will be in town from their home in Colorado.  It will be great to see him and we will have lots of fun arguing with Stacey about how much better the Stanley Cup is than the Vince Lombardi trophy (she is American and from Wisconsin to top it off).  Basically, if you cannot drink beer out of the trophy, then what is the point??

Today’s Hockey Training Q&A….

This is a pretty quick one but the topic covered today include:

  • what to do if you are getting overwhelmed with all the info you are getting from me in your email – there is a simple solution 🙂
  • how to time your workouts around your games – should you train the morning of a game?
  • getting back to training if you missed a few weeks, where should you pick up to maximize your results?
