An on-ice cardio workout for pro goalies today – in fact you will follow two of my Turning Pro coaching clients as they grind out this on-ice stamina session.

These guys play North American pro hockey so take note of their focus and intensity as fatigue sets in and they go into survival mode.

 

A)   Superband Resisted Shuffle – narrow – 4x 10s on: 10s off

*REST 30 SECONDS

A1) Superband Resisted Shuffle – Wide – 4x 10s on: 10s off

* REST 3-MINUTES

B)   Superband Resisted Shuffle (band in hands) – narrow – 2x 10s on: 10s off

B1) Superband Resisted Shuffle (band in hands) – Wide – 2x 10s on: 10s off

* REST 3-MINUTES

C)  Superband Resisted Shuffle (band in hands) – 2 down: 1 back – 4x10s on: 10s off

* REST 3-MINUTES

D)  Superband Resisted ½ Butterfly – Narrow Quick – 2x10s on: 10s off

*REST 90 SECONDS

D1) Superband Resisted ½ Butterlfy – Wide Quick – 2x10s on: 10s off

*REST 90 SECONDS

D2 Superband Resisted ½ Butterfly – Big Push – 2x10s on: 10s off

* REST 3-MINUTES
