Right Reasons to Stand Out: Coachable:
- Be an active listener and ask appropriate questions.
- Polite: Be courteous to everyone, from teammates to staff.
- Helpful: Offer a helping hand to your teammates and staff.
- BONUS: Stop A LOT of pucks.
Wrong Reasons to Stand Out:
- Late/Unorganized: Don’t be late or disorganized with paperwork.
- No Eye Contact: Make sure to maintain eye contact.
- Emotional Management: Manage your emotions – be passionate but not unhinged.
