Follow along, as I give you four of the best exercises to transform your feet into the ultimate tools for goaltending success:

  • Towel Crunch: 60 seconds – Target those tiny but essential muscles.
  • Toe Splay: 10 reps, 3-5 seconds each – Improve foot dexterity and strength.
  • Single Leg Calf Raise on Airex Pad: 6 each – Boost balance and stabilizing muscles.
  • Mini Squat with Band: 6 each – Strengthen the muscles under your big toe for maximum stability.

You’ll need a towel, an Airex Pad (or dense couch cushion, or folded towel) as well as a MiniBand & SuperBand (or bungee) for these strengthening exercises.

You can use these as part of your dynamic warm-up or your daily mobility routine. Your on-ice performance will be a step above the rest!
