Define a ‘Bad’ Hockey Season

As you know, Canada announced the roster for the men’s Olympic Hockey team yesterday.  You may also know that my client Andy McDonald was invited to the evaluation camp last August, but unfortunately was not selected to be a member of the team.  He was not one of the front runners from the start, but it was disappointing that he will not get the chance to compete for Canada.

Then yesterday afternoon someone said to me – ‘Yeah, Andy’s having a bad season this year.’  Um, could you define ‘bad’ for me?  Because the last time I checked Andy had 11 goals; 12 assists and was second in scoring for the Blues.  He is on his way to a 20+ goal season and the last time he did that he helped the Ducks win a Stanley Cup!

Here is my final bit of proof pointing to what a ‘bad’ season Andy is having – poor guy – looks like he is really struggling doesn’t it?

So consider yourself warned – the next time someone wants to take a swipe at my boy Andy and tell me what a bad season he is having, be prepared for me to open a can of whoopa$$ on you.

Oh yeah…Happy New Year!!  Canada vs. USA in the World Juniors – go CANADA go!!

Cheers,
Maria
